Microsoft Teams is a market-leading piece of software for coordinating many users. The Teams app may be downloaded for Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, and Android.

When you install Microsoft Teams on Windows 10 or Windows 11, the app will be set up to launch during system startup by default.

During startup, you can disable the Teams app if you do not want it to launch automatically. Conversely, you may make it such that Teams launches automatically with Windows 10 or 11 if it doesn’t already.

There are a number of techniques to control which programs launch with Windows 10 and 11. This tutorial will teach you the three different ways to control whether Microsoft Teams launches automatically with Windows 10 or 11.

In Windows 10 and 11, you may use Task Manager to set Microsoft Teams to launch automatically.

Step 1: The Task Manager may be accessed by right-clicking the Taskbar and selecting the corresponding menu item. Additionally, you may get the same using search.

Second, if a streamlined version of Task Manager opens, choose More information to get the full-featured version.

Third, select the Startup menu. The tabs in the most recent version of Windows 11 are located on the left side of the screen, but in Windows 10, they are located on the top.

You may set Microsoft Teams to automatically launch with Windows 10 or 11 by right-clicking its item here and selecting the Enable option. Also, if you don’t want Teams to be loaded at startup, select the Disable button.

In Windows 10 and 11, use the Settings app to enable or disable Microsoft Teams at launch.

First, launch the system preferences utility. Check out the Startup page in Apps.

Follow Step 2 and locate the Microsoft Teams option. Simply switching the switch to the “off” position will turn it off. Switch to the on position to have Microsoft Teams activated upon launch. As easy as that!

Teams settings in Windows 10 and 11 allow you to choose whether Microsoft Teams is launched automatically.

One must first launch the Teams app. To access the settings, click the ellipses (…) next to the profile symbol.

In the second step, select the “General” menu. To have Teams launch automatically whenever Windows 10 or 11 is started, enable the feature to “Auto-start Teams” or “Auto-start program.” Turn off Teams at startup by deselecting the box.
